Jedním z kroků v postupné revitalizaci lokality Horečky byla obnova amfiteátru v sousedství skokanského areálu. Na svažité louce se nacházela zchátralá stavba pódia se zázemím v suterénu, která zdánlivě vypadala, jako by ji už nenávratně pohltila příroda. Po jejím vyčištění se však ukázalo, že pódium bude možno obnovit a opět využívat. Odhalily se tak i krásné detaily, jako jsou například dvě betonová točitá schodiště.
Rekonstrukce spočívala v obnově pódia, vyčištění interiérů a realizaci nové dřevěné fasády. Krátce po dokončení prací proběhla zatěžkávací zkouška – první ročník festivalu Horečky fest. Stavba obstála a od té doby se areál stal dějištěm několika dalších kulturních akcí.
V roce 2015 byl amfiteátr zastřešen.
Another step in the gradual revitalization of the Horečky area was the renewal of the amphitheatre near the ski-jumping venue. The shabbily constructed stage, with all its technical operations housed beneath it, was situated on a steep meadow, giving the initial impression that it had already been irretrievably absorbed by nature. However, after it had been cleaned up, it turned out that the stage could be refurbished and put back into operation. Beautiful details were uncovered in the process, including two winding concrete staircases.
Reconstruction involved refurbishing the stage, cleaning the interior premises, and installing a new timber façade. Shortly after the works were completed, they were put to the test – the first year of the Horečky Fest festival. The construction stood successfully and the venue has since been the scene of several other cultural events.
